MODE 2024*

Celebrating experimental music, audiovisual, and performing arts, the event series MODE returned to Tokyo, showcasing both local and global artists over nine days.

On June 4, for the third day of the series, London-based percussionist Valentina Magaletti, 79-year-old free jazz saxophonist Akira Sakata, who is one of the most prominent figures in music in Japan, and Berlin-based tenor saxophonist Bendik Giske performed at Sogetsu Hall in Akasaka.
